Winston was born in Midland, Texas, and he began his career playing football in high school where he was one of the best high school tight ends in the country, was a USA Today High School All-American, and helped his school to win three Texas 5A state championships. Winston went on to play college football at the University of Miami where he was an All-American selection. Winston went on to be selected in the third round of the NFL Draft by the Houston Texans. Winston spent a majority of his career playing with the Texans and also went on to play with teams which include the Kansas City Chiefs, Arizona Cardinals, Cincinnati Bengals, and also signed with the Seattle Seahawks but didn’t play in season with them.
