NEFFEX is an American musical duo that consists of Bryce Savage and Cameron Wales. The duo are producers who remix various popular songs and produce their own original songs as well. Through their music they combine a mixture of electronic and rap genres. Savage writes the duos lyrics and Wales creates the instrumentals and edits the songs. NEFFEX met while in high school and they first began performing together in a local punk rock band before leaving to pursue their own musical career. After graduating from high school, the duo grew apart for a while before they began talking again because they both noticed the other was working on music in their spare time. The duo then came together again and based themselves out of Orange County, California. Shortly after, NEFFEX began a challenge of releasing 100 songs in 100 weeks, all of which were royalty-free. Two years later, NEFFEX released their debut EP, “Q203,” which featured the songs “Without You,” “Want Me,” “When I Was Young,” and more. Most recently, NEFFEX has released their debut studio album, “New Beginnings.” Currently, NEFFEX has over 4.2 million monthly listeners on Spotify.
