Producer noll, who now resides in Los Angeles, began learning the violin and piano when he was a young child. He also played in his Texas high school and district orchestras. He majored in Economics while attending UCLA, participated in acapella ensembles and DJed numerous events on campus.
In order to get attention from blogs like EDM.com and AcidStag, noll started producing and started by uploading flips of popular songs by artists like Alicia Keys, Marshmello, Cashmere Cat, Zedd and more on Soundcloud. Etiquette Noir and a remix on Odd Fruits were the home of his first few official releases.
In a tribute to his statistics-based namesake, noll published his first four-track EP in under the title "the empty set," which garnered support from the LA college electronic scene.
