Although DJ/producer Prunk works at his own speed, he is not slowing down. He founded the label PIV, which has been releasing EPs on a regular basis. One such EP is his own creation, "Sexy Brasil." In addition to heading the label and releasing records, Prunk has been touring the globe, performing in places like Bali (Jenja) and Brazil (D.EDGE, São Paulo). After more than a decade of DJing, Prunk has discovered the secret to being current and laid back: performing what he does in his own unique style, with individuals he enjoys working with.
Prunk has been organizing labelnights at venues such as Chicago Social Club, De Marktkantine, Annabel, and even in Malta since the inception of the PIV label. With Paolo Rocco and Mr. Ks joining Chris Stussy and himself for the first event in April, PIV has found its newest home at Amsterdam's newest club, Claire.
Prunk has discovered his sparring partner in Stussy. Like he did with Bas Roos, Prunk scouted the young artist a few years ago.
He co-produced the song "What I Do" with Roos, and it ended up on the Defected house Ibiza compilation..
